We had dinner plans with a friend and I automatically  reached for this dress.  Not just because of  the cool houndstooth print and long sleeves, but because I was feeling rather off my game and needed a dress that would take charge.
Aside from the obvious new obnoxious accessory I'm donning, I've been having one of those weeks where I just gravitated towards comfort and reached for clothes to disguise how I was really feeling.  This cast has been a pain in my butt and it feels like my spirits were bandaged up along with my wrist.  The story: I tripped over a rug and fell and fractured my scaphoid, so I'll be sporting this cast for a few more weeks. I guess it's just been an adjustment and trying to continue with my activities has been a challenge.  On the bright side, I like a challenge and have promised myself to look for modifications and cheer the F up.
Back to the dress - I love this dress because of the wrap that accentuates and hides right where it's needed.  It cinches in at the waist and falls perfectly to flatter the curves, and despite how I was feeling, I was confident this dress did the job. Ladies, if you're searching for that perfect "stuff-your-face-at-dinner", "I'm-bloated", "I-feel-fat" perfectly perfect dress, get to know Diane Von Furstenberg.  She's the goddess behind the iconic wrap dress that fits and flatters any shape and size.  That woman knows her shit.
